Common questions

What clients ask before they book

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. The first call runs 30 minutes and costs nothing.

Do I need a will or a trust?

It depends on what you own and what you want to happen. A will names who gets what and who raises your children. A trust goes further: it also keeps those instructions out of probate court. We look at your situation on the free call and tell you which one fits.

How much will my case cost?

Wills, living trusts and uncontested divorces are handled for a flat fee, set before we begin. Custody and parenting time are billed by the hour, with a written estimate after the first call. Probate is quoted once we have reviewed the estate.

Can I speak to someone in Spanish?

Yes. Consultations are available in English and Spanish, so you can explain your situation in the language you are most comfortable with.

How long does an uncontested divorce take in Arizona?

It moves faster than a contested divorce because both sides already agree on the terms, but the timeline still depends on the court. That is why the fee for this one can be fixed in advance and a contested case cannot.

What should I bring to the first call?

Your existing documents, account names and property details, if you have them. Having them on hand saves time and money on the work that follows.
